Hello!
I’m Christine Tyler Hill and Tender Dispatches is my weeklyish newsletter.
I’m an artist, illustrator, crossing guard, naturalist, cyclist, and beginning gardener/landscaper obsessed with rewilding my semi-urban backyard.
Tender Dispatches is a weekly email sharing three things I’m reading, loving, or thinking about.
A lot of my work is about pointing at things, and Tender Dispatches is one way of doing that. This Tony Hoagland poem says it best.
I send Tender Dispatches most Friday mornings. I aim for a weekly dispatch, but sometimes I just don’t have that dog in me.
I offer paid subscriptions, but I don’t really offer valuable perks in return. If you choose to become a paid sub, I assume it’s because you support my work broadly, which is incredible to me. Thank you for being a patron!
You can also sign up for my monthly printed newsletter, The Cloud Report, so that your sustaining support gets you a fun little thing in the mail.
You can see the full archives here.
Thanks for being here!
